Today I added all the Danish Breweries which I could find using Google. I'm sure that some of them are missing but if there is no webpage it's difficult to verify the existancy of the brewery. Nevertheless: check the Danish Breweries out!

At the moment I'm checking the German entries of the breweries. Mostly I'm looking for breweries smaller than microbreweries or pubs where they carrie the name "brewery" but no beer is brewed anymore. I also made sure that the telephone code is in the correct form (+49(0)...), at some it isn't... I know.

At the next step most of the Berlin | Brandenburg and Baverian breweries will come online. This is done by someone else. I'm focusing on Denmark, France and Spain.

For some of the breweries I added one beer to make sure that everything with the linking is fine. Found some checks I have to run later on. It's mostly about structure.

When I was searching for Finnish breweries I came across some brewery directories which host information about much more Finnish breweries than I do. Basically I can't confirm all breweries information as not every brewery is having a webpage.

The first directory was Beerfinland.com which is an impressive list of current and already closed Finnish breweries. An not so impressiv list, but also showing the already closed breweries comes from Beercoasters.it

If you are looking into history I suggest to check out both. If you want to correct some of the breweries listed at Lautering.net get an account or get in contact with me.

When I was adding Breweries, mainly from Finland at the moment, I came across the Laitilan Wirvoitusjuomatehdas Brewery. Their website is produced entirely in Flash and is totally interactive. From a website developers point of view a "must see" website. The difficulty with Flash pages is that they are impossible to be indexed and searched by search engines...

The 2 Batchflux 5015c, manufactured by Krohne, have now been bought from the Irish company DWN. It has taken a while to get all information from our side together. Basically, as the 5015 is for OEM purpose mainly, we have to get line-size, filling time, etc. send forward to DWN. Once the Batchflux is configured with the given data it is sealed and we are not able to change these settings. The Batchflux will be delivered in early 2009 and we hopefully will be able to connect it properly with the PLC. The price is now about 1400 €, including tax, for one 5015c. It’s a pretty fair price as we don’t need any technical stuff from DWN to set our filling machine up with it. A two head filling machine isn’t a carousel filling machine and even not a western blot. Any brew master should be able to do it.

At the moment I'm adding some breweries, mostly UK & Ireland. I have found some good resources on Wikipedia but still using Google to confirm contact details, etc. If your brewery is showing up wrong, or you want to be listed let me know.

When I attended the Brau Beviale in Nürenberg this year I had some appointments. I met a CEO of a porcelain company which basically manufactures the porcelain clips of clip clop bottles and had some chat about corporate and website design. We went on...
